Janet F. Quinn, PhD, RN, FAAN, is an InterSpiritual spiritual director/guide in private practice, working with people from all faith traditions, or none, in person, via phone and Skype. She is a long-time practitioner/student of Centering Prayer and the Christian Contemplative Tradition; a mureed in the Sufi Order International; and a happy dervish in the Nur Ashki Jerrahi Sufi Order.
She is utterly in love with the Sophia Perennis, or the Perennial Wisdom, the radiant Truth found deep in the mystic heart of all of the world's spiritual traditions. Janet is Founder/Director of the Touching Body, Tending Soul™ program; founding faculty and Spiritual Director in Residence of the former Claritas Institute Interspiritual Mentor Training Program; and an international speaker and consultant on Spirituality and Healing; InterSpirituality and the Perennial Wisdom; Healthcare as Spiritual Practice; Integrative Medicine/Nursing; Creating Habitats for Healing, and Health Professional Sustainability. Janet is the author of a book of affirmations and meditations for women entitled I Am A Woman Finding My Voice, and is also a passionate horsewoman, hanging out at the barn with her equine friends whenever possible, experiencing the healing potential and spiritual nourishment in the horse-human relationship.
